The JV tennis team defeated Midlothian on Thursday, August 29. The Lion netter jumped to a 5-2 lead in doubles with wins from Joseph Salmeron and Andrew Muse at line one doubles. The Lady Lions swept the competition courtesy of Alondra Bermudez/Dannelle Anderson, Lilyann Martin/Stephany Amaya, and Sutton Wade/Angela Llamas. Katy Peterman and Owen Nelson defeated their opponents in mixed doubles as well.

The Lady Lions continued to stay perfect in singles, all delivering quick wins in singles. Andrew Muse and Marin Rodriguez were the lone Kaufman boys to grind out a win. Overall score was 13-6 on the night.
